This is a very cool and useful applet. It lets you enjoy all of Google's customized services but purges your search history from your Google Cookie.

Good find. CustomizeGoogle does something similar, and we're experimenting with a cookie blocking function with TrackMeNot that will only associate TMN's ghost queries with your cookie ID, and scrub your cookie from your real searches.

Awesome. As you know, I've been very concerned about my privacy, but I can't really "break up with Google," given the lack of viable competition.

is there a way for googleites to implant a cookie-like tracking devise into a search engine to keep track of Google's private info? LEGALY? If not, why?
