It was a good show. Your participation, like your previous participations on that show,was quite insightful and thoughtful.
Seems to me, much of your comments had to do with the fact that people in the media have a hard time thinking about the implications of what they do. Which is one of the things which created tension between Pierre Bourdieu and Daniel Schneidermann.
A broader point has to do with the time and effort required to take a step back from events so as to get a broader view of the situation. In ethnography, the holistic stance can do wonders.
Just wondering, is there a specific Canadian show that seems to respond to your criteria the way Open Source does (at least on occasion)?
