So That's Why They're Leaving
Here is an article discussing possible explanations for American college students' abandonment of the sciences for the humanities.
Easy grades is one. I am about to start teaching Introductory Biology. I doubt very much my class will have any where near 35% A's. And that seems to be the goal for reducing grade inflation in the humanities.
