Sivacracy to be More Orange and Obnoxious -- almost insufferable

You may have noticed that I have not been boasting about the powerful Texas Longhorn men's basketball team this March. I have refrained out of respect for the thousand of Sivacracy readers who did not have the good fortune of attending The University of Texas. I also was in mourning over the exclusion of the Texas Lady Longhorns from the NCAA Women's Basketball tournament. It just ain't March if Jodi's women aren't in the mix.
But just minutes ago Texas guard Kenton Paulino hit a clutch three-point shot at the buzzer to defeat West Virginia in the round of 16.
And since LSU slammed Duke just before, LSU and Texas will meet on Saturday to see who will represent their bracket in the Final Four. LSU left everything on the court against Duke. So Texas will clearly triumph again.

It should seem clear to everyone by now that all the stars have aligned to make me very, very happy. My San Antonio Spurs won the NBA Championship and the Longhorns won the NCAA baseball championship last June.

Then they won the NCAA football championship thanks to the greatest performance in the history of football by the greatest player to ever play the game, Vince Young.

Now they are sure to sweep the major men's championships next weekend!

More importantly, any child that intelligent-looking won't care one bit about such unimportant business! Siva, please stick to what you do well. Any jock wanna-be can find sports reporting on the net. Some of us hang out here to avoid such petty ridiculousness.

Siva -- All our dreams of triple-championship are coming true. I was convinced of this when we won the Rose Bowl; I'm more convinced now. :)
And hey, Mark, Siva does this for free, I think. Plus, his Longhorn "ridiculousness" seems to stoke the big fire that lets him keep up with Sivacracy, teaching, writing books, raconteuring, etc. etc. So . . . well, you can decide for yourself. Me, I'm not complaining.

Any lug can write read stuff and write stuff. A true genius can hit a three-point jumper with half a second left on the clock in a championship tournament.
I would trade all the words than thoughts I have ever produced for a lovely jump shot, a mighty tee shot, or 4.4 speed.
