I will be on The Daily Show ...
... UPDATE: MY SEGMENT GOT BUMPED UNTIL NEXT WEEK!
The Daily Show folks called me up last week to tape a segment called "Trendspotting," in which their "youth reporter" interviews me about social network software like Friendster, MySpace, and Facebook.
It should be pretty funny. I got the giggles a few times during the taping. We did dozens of takes and the whole thing took more than four hours to do.
It was supposed to be on Tuesday night, but because Jon Stewart had a baby over the weekend, the whole week's schedule is up in the air.
CHECK BACK NEXT WEEK!

Hi Siva:
I might have to miss it as we are having a Citizen Kane/White Stripes viewing/copyright infringement discussion/event here in Nashville. We (BUCS - Belmont Univ. Copyright Socety) will be wearing out official BUCS t-shirts with the FORBIDDEN Article 1, Seection 8 copyright clause on them, that clause the U.S. Copyright Office (the RIAA/MPAA's mistress) doesn't want anyone to see.
I'll have to have a friend TiVO you. Congratulations!!!
E. Michael
