Anyone Besides Me Tired Of These Blog Ads?

All the ads do if you click on them (you'll have to find them on an advertisement-running blog like Kos, Talking Points Memo or Political Animal to do this) is take you to the MSNBC homepage. If you click on Rita Crosby's "Live & Direct" link captioned "A unique look inside the valley of porn" you get taken to this completely stupid article. I have no idea what Rita has in store for her audience on Wednesday, but judging by the blog ads I'm guessing scantily clad women will be involved.

Update: Eschaton has a few words about these ads as well.

Update 2: So do Media Girl and Bitch Ph.D.

And to clarify, I'm not trying to censor anyone, I'm simply pointing out that I don't like the ads; they are a fairly transparent attempt to pass rather sexist salaciousness off as "news." Just reading the "report" on Hugh Hefner at the MSNBC link probably tells you all you need to know about the tone and content of the advertised "expose" on "porn valley." The ad gives you an overview of who MSNBC thinks its target audience is, and I'm clearly not in it.

Update 3: Pandagon comments as well.
