Reminder: Big Talk at University of Minnesota on Tuesday

On Tuesday the University of Minnesota Libraries will present a symposium on "Publication, the Public University and the Public Interest."

I will be giving a lecture called "Critical Information Studies: A Manifesto." It's a call to arms for the academic community to support open scholarship and open access as a prime value.

Edward Ayers of the University of Virginia, one of my favorite historians, will also give a talk at this symposium.

The Webcast will be available here.
