More Housekeeping
I have asked Ann Bartow to refrain from posting any more to Sivacracy.net. Basically, she was detracting from the mission of this blog: the pure and unadulterated promotion of me, Siva Vaidhyanathan (see my books posted on the right side of this blogs and please buy several copies of each).
It became clear to me over the past few weeks that Ann had too large a following among Sivacracy readers. Her posts get more comments, more trackbacks, and more blogosphere reaction than any of mine.
She was making me look bad, right here on my own blog.
Plus, Ann kept asking us to pay attention to something called a "Gamecock." NYU, which hosts this site, complained to me about the use of that word, fearing that Web filters in libraries would soon block all NYU sites. The worst-case scenario would be that applications for freshmen would drop because high school seniors could no longer access NYU on school computers.
If that happened, revenue at NYU would drop. My salary would drop. NYU might have to make us teach more classes. And I would not get tenure. All because of Ann.
So, sorry to all those Bartow fans out there. I just can't take the risk any more.
Oh, please buy my books, just in case the damage is already done. I could use the money.
