Iran, Pakistan
Observation from Sisyphus Shrugged:
"Iran is in trouble with the US for trying to develop a nuclear program.
"Pakistan, who sold them the technology on the black market, is in talks today with Dr. Rice (who calls them "a model" for the Islamic world, presumably because of the democratic way Musharraf seized power and refused to cede military control over the government) about our proposed sale to Pakistan of F-16s and their hopes of joining the Nuclear Suppliers Group, a 44-member group which attempts to police the kind of illicit sales that Pakistan made to Iran and that nice man in North Korea.
"With Pakistan as an american-approved model, I'm sure Iran will progress quickly."
