Arrrghhh.
Below I re-posted James Wolcott's wonderful blog entry in support of Barbara Boxer. So did, among others, "Old Fashioned Patriot " who wrote in pertinent part: "How Lame Is Sen. Biden? I posted at democrats.meetup.com a link to Wolcott's excellent post about Biden and the other pink tutu Democrats. I also emailed Sen. Biden the link so he could address the base rather than just the SCLM."
Okay, I basically agree with the sentiment, but why accuse the ("punk-ass," as Wolcott characterized them) Dems like Biden of being "pink tutus"? Because they are being "girlie" for not supporting Boxer? Isn't there something a little strange about using feminine imagery as an insult when you are ostensibly supporting a WOMAN?
