Happy Feminist Fathers Day!
Happy feminist father’s day to all the feminist dads out there. Special feminist father’s day wishes to my own pops, Samuel Losh, for being cool with the fact that I liked trains more than dolls, for wanting me to do science after school and during the summer, for buying me my first computer, for being such a great nurturing diaper-changing grandfather to my own children, for not being afraid of strong women, and for never, ever – even during the punk rock days – saying anything about my appearance, either bad or good, so I could grow up knowing that it wasn’t what I looked like that mattered.
To all you non-feminist fathers in the world, you’re missing out.
