When will Bad Boyz ever pay the price?

Clarence Thomas writes a big book in which he whines about how HE was the victim after he sexually harassed Anita Hill. He spreads lies about her. He pretends he suffered somehow. He claims his critics treated him worse than racists did.

Yet, last time I checked, Justice Thomas had the best job in the entire world, regardless of his sick and illegal treatment of a woman who had the misfortune of working for him.

After all that, Thomas never paid a price for his crimes.

Today we find that a jury has found Isiah Thomas guilty of harassing one of his former employees.

A Manhattan jury today concluded that Knicks coach Isiah Thomas sexually harassed a female executive who was later fired after she complained about his trash talking.

But Thomas won't have to show Anucha Browne Sanders the money.

The jury, which also found Madison Square Garden guilty of harassing Browne Sanders, ruled that MSG should have to pay her punitive damages.

Browne Sanders, 44, cried tears of joy as she hugged her sisters while the usually cheerful Thomas, 46, looked on glumly - his trademark grin erased from his face. ...

So, the question is, will be be fired? If so, will he be shunned by the sports establishment and media? Or will he just weasel his way into another lucrative position despite his long record of incompetence, irresponsibility, and illicit behavior?

I ask this because it has bothered me for years that convicted rapist Mike Tyson still got prime-time play when he returned to fighting. In fact, there were plenty of boxing commissions willing to let him fight professionally after he came out of prison. At no time did ESPN choose to refer to him as "convicted rapist Mike Tyson." It was always, "former champion Mike Tyson."

Are boys still allowed to be boys?
