Let's Face It: The NYTimes Helped Bush Get Elected in 2004

More than a year ago it could have blown the covers off W's domestic spying abuse. But the editors sat on the story and let the Judith Miller thing fester.

If that paper were less interested in pushing news stories that help Republicans (like making up the Intelligent Design "controversy") and thwarting and twisting news stories that expose the lies and duplicity of this administration (WMD, domestic spying) we might live in a better democracy.

As it stands, my daily newspaper remains cowardly at best, corrupt at worst.
