Creative Commons Speaker Agreement
I often have to sign speaker agreements when I give public lectures. These agreements are so broadly drawn that they basically ask me to give up all rights in all media for my talks.
I can't stand this "capture" of my performance. It means some other institution could lock it up forever.
So I doctored a speaker agreement with a Creative Commons Share-Alike License. Check out the RTF copy here. Or click below to see the text in HTML.

RELEASE FORM
(photograph, video, and audio)
Under the terms set below, I,
hereby consent to and authorize the use by of any and all photographs, video images and audio taken of me including derivative works thereof, and any reproduction of them in any form in any media whatsoever (such as books, DVDs, etc.), throughout the world at the following event:
I also consent to the use of my own name the aforesaid photographs, video images or audio. I hereby release any and all claims whatsoever in connection with the use of my photographs, video images, audio and name and the reproduction thereof as aforesaid. This work and any and all photographs, video images and audio taken of me including derivative works thereof, and any reproduction of them in any form in any media whatsoever (such as books, DVDs, etc.), throughout the world are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License as described below:

• to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work
• to make derivative works
• to make commercial use of the work
